VCI (Volatile Corrosive Inhibitor) helps protect metal components from rusting. Moisture in the environment settles on the surface of metal components and over time this moisture helps conduct an electrochemical process which produces oxidisation or rust. When enclosing a metal object inside VCI polythene, the active vapours fights against the electrochemical process and prevents the rust.
It is vital that users are educated properly in the use of VCI polythene. If the metal products are not packed in the correct way and in the wrong conditions, then you might as well use normal polythene because the VCI will not be able to work properly. The vapours that this material releases are not toxic.[/fusion_text][fusion_text]
